Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 7, 2026
This policy covers the Plato app for iPhone and the website at platohistory.app. In short, the app collects nothing about you. The website keeps your email only if you join the waitlist.
The Plato app
No account, no data collection. Plato doesn’t ask you to sign up, and it doesn’t send any personal information to us or to anyone else.
Your progress stays on your phone. Lessons completed, XP, streak, hearts, your daily goal and your reminder time are saved only on your device. We can’t see them. If you delete the app, they’re deleted too.
Reminders are local. If you turn on daily reminders, your phone schedules them itself. No server is involved, and you can turn them off at any time in Settings.
No tracking. The app has no analytics, no advertising and no third-party tracking tools, and it doesn’t track you across other apps or websites.
Apple may share crash reports and usage statistics with developers if you’ve agreed to that in your iPhone’s settings. Apple controls this, and the data doesn’t identify you to us.
The website and waitlist
If you join the waitlist, we store your email address and the time you signed up. We use it only to tell you when Plato launches. We don’t sell it or share it for marketing. It’s stored with our hosting provider, Cloudflare.
The website doesn’t use analytics or advertising cookies. Its fonts load from Google Fonts, which means Google can see your IP address when the page loads.
We delete the waitlist once it’s no longer needed for the launch.
Children
Plato doesn’t collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Your choices
You can ask us to remove your email from the waitlist, or ask any question about your data, by writing to [email protected].
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update it on this page and change the date at the top.
