Common questions

Is Plato free? Yes. There are no ads and nothing to buy.

Do I need an account? No. Your progress is saved on your iPhone.

I ran out of hearts. Hearts come back on their own, one every 30 minutes. Practice doesn’t use hearts, so you can keep your streak going in the meantime.

How do I change or turn off reminders? Tap the gear at the top of the Learn screen to open Settings.

Will my progress move to a new phone? Not yet. Progress lives on the device, so deleting the app also deletes it.

What does Plato cover? The first course is Rome, from its founding in 753 BC to the fall of the West in 476 AD, in 8 units and 40 lessons.
